This fire engine was being returned to the Greenville, TX fire department after servicing when the driver crashed into a Dairy Queen restaurant. An employee of the service center was driving the truck at the time. An investigation is under way, and no cause for the accident has been given. The driver and one DQ patron were injured.

Except that wood doesn’t bend. The more I look at it, I’m thinking maybe a light pole or perhaps some of the gutter. Either way, it’s a good thing that nobody was in the passenger seat.
